Craft Show Exhibitor Information

 

Fellow Craftspeople, 

             Below is some general information for all shows so please read carefully:

1.                  Please bring your own table covering for each show.  The size of the table is listed on each application.  Your table covering must meet the floor in the front, and at Mall shows, they must be skirted on all four sides.  Your display must not interfere with adjacent exhibits or extend into the aisle in any way.  Nothing shall be nailed, stapled to affixed to walls or floors.   At the Mall shows, there will be no handwritten signs, or extension cords taped across aisle ways.

2.                  All exhibitors are required to remain at the show until closing.  We have advertised the specific hours of the show, and it would not be professional or fair to patrons to start to breakdown before the specified closing time.

3.                  Heritage Craft will charge admission at the door for patrons at one day shows.  Please let me know ahead of time if anyone helping you at your table will be arriving late.  If these arrangements are made in advance, they will not be charged.

4.                  We expect your full cooperation in unloading and parking your vehicle at the start of the show.  This is a very busy time for everyone.  Please realize that Heritage Craft does not dictate where you may park or unload, the facility management requires where you park and unload.  Obviously with 150 people unloading at the same time, you may not be able to park as close as you would like.  We must leave space at all times for emergency vehicles.  This will be strictly enforced and if you do not wish to cooperate, you will be asked to leave without a refund.

5.                  Please feel free to demonstrate your craft at the shows.  We will try to accommodate you as far as electricity is needed, however YOU MUST INFORM US AS TO HOW MUCH WATTAGE YOU WILL USE, as we have limitations on what we can allow.

6.                  At one day shows, we would appreciate your donation of a door prize.  Please bring it to the front entrance table before the start of the show.  Tickets will be drawn throughout the day for prizes.

7.                  If I am not familiar with your work, please send photographs of your craft along with your applications.  If it is not accepted, your check will be returned to you immediately.  If is accepted, and you mail a SASE, you will receive your confirmation and photographs back around the dates listed on each application.  Please mail a separate check for each show for which you apply (the separate checks can be mailed in the same envelope).  Please do not include any other crafts on your table other than listed on your application unless prior approval is obtained.  This eliminates duplications, or being close to someone with the same craft.  If your application is not accepted, it is not a reflection of the quality of your work.  We will only accept a certain number of people who do basically the same craft. 

8.                  If you cancel prior to 48 hours of the show, you will receive a refund of $20.00 per space or table.  After 48 hours, or if you do not show up on the morning of a show, you will forfeit your total entrance fee.  If you do not arrive by 9:30 AM on the day of a show, we reserve the right to fill the space (without a refund), if prior arrangements are not made.

9.                  If you decide that you are unable to attend a show, it is not permitted to "sell" your space to someone else unless we are notified in advance.  In most cases we have a waiting list and in all fairness will notify those people first.
